An airport’s security, toured in one animation

Airports are among the busiest places of the year, and their security is spread across many points. We told it with an animation that tours an illustrated airport.

Sound familiar?

If any of these lines sounds like you, this project is about you.

  1. Your service is spread across a whole building, and still almost nobody knows what each part does.
  2. You have a long list of functions, and in a document they all weigh the same.
  3. There are times of year when the work multiplies and you want people to understand why.
  4. You have to explain it the same way to clients, partners and teams elsewhere, without handing over a report.

That’s where Prosegur came in.

More travellers, more measures

In the holidays, as at Christmas, the number of travellers goes up and, with it, the security measures to protect them and all the staff.

Each airport and station has a security plan tailored to its needs, and the studies of specialist analysts carry a lot of weight: from the Intelligence and Foresight Unit they detect possible threats and anticipate their impact. The brief was to show the main security and surveillance measures Prosegur applies in airports.

How we told it

An airport illustrated in isometric cutaway, with tiny people and vehicles and a yellow card for each service.

  1. Still from the video: isometric cutaway of an airport baggage area, with luggage belts and a plane on the runway, and a yellow card titled “Luggage Management”

A yellow card for each service

Each service comes in with its own card: a title, three lines and an icon. What would be a list in a document reads at a glance.

  2. Still from the video: terminal cutaway with check-in desks, escalators and baggage belts, staff in yellow and black uniforms, and the yellow card “Boarding Support”

The service, spread across the building

Figures in yellow and black uniforms are spread across desks, stairs and belts. You can see where in the building each one works.

  3. Still from the video: car park, café and train track in isometric cutaway, with the yellow card “Leisure and Recreational Area” and an icon of two children

    The leisure area too

The tour doesn’t stop at the obvious: it reaches the children’s play area and the shopping areas. You see how far the surveillance extends.

  4. Still from the video: terminal with boarding bridge and a plane with its cabin in cutaway, and the yellow card “Access to Aircraft” with an icon of a passenger with a suitcase

From the terminal to the plane

The shot reaches the boarding bridge and the plane, seen in cutaway from inside. The same map explains what happens inside and outside the terminal.
