The Bill Brandt exhibition, with its own song and music video
A photography exhibition, a band and a dedicated track. We told it in a promotional music video for the Bill Brandt exhibition at Fundación Mapfre.

Sound familiar?
If any of these sound like you, this project is about you.
- You want your exhibition to be heard, not just seen.
- You have a song made for your exhibition and don’t want it to stay an audio file.
- The video has to serve the exhibition and also the people who arrive at it through the music.
- And it has to look like a music video, not an ad for the exhibition.
That’s where Fundación Mapfre came in.
A song for an exhibition
Fundación Mapfre had a Bill Brandt photography exhibition and a dedicated track by the band Delaporte. With both, we had to make a promotional music video.
The exhibition hall is the stage: the framed photographs sit in the background and a dancer takes the foreground.
How we told it
A gallery with pale walls, framed black-and-white photographs and a dancer, with animated strokes of colour drawn over the image.

01 The gallery as a stage
The music video is shot inside the exhibition. The framed photographs stay behind, slightly out of focus, and the person in the foreground leads the eye.

02 Strokes that move with her
Strokes of colour are drawn over the footage and follow the movement of the body. The white room fills with rhythm without touching the photographs.

03 Face to face with the work
Back to camera, in front of a photograph, the dancer talks to what hangs on the wall: the exhibition is part of the choreography.
